... Winter Storm Watch remains in effect from Friday afternoon
through Saturday evening...

* what... heavy snow possible. Total snow accumulations of 2 to 5
inches, localized up to 7 inches over the High Plains with 7
to 10 inches, localized up to 12 over the mountains possible.

* Where... southeastern Wyoming including the north and south
Laramie ranges, Snowy Range, and including the Interstate- 80
Summit.

* When... from Friday afternoon through Saturday evening.

* Additional details... travel could be very difficult. The
hazardous conditions could impact the evening commute.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

A Winter Storm Watch means there is potential for significant
snow, sleet or ice accumulations that may impact travel. Continue

... Strong winds likely late tonight through early Friday.

West southwest winds of 30 to 40 mph with occasional gusts to
near 50 mph will occur late tonight through early Friday ahead of
an approaching cold front. Strong winds could cause some travel
problems along interstates 80 and 25.

If you are driving high profile vehicles, including light trailers
and campers, please use caution when traveling east or west bound
on Interstate 80 and north or south bound along Interstate 25.
Strong winds may result in a loss of vehicle control.
