... High wind watch remains in effect from this evening through
Monday afternoon...

* timing... increasingly strong winds aloft ahead of the next
approaching upper level trough will affect the Absaroka
Mountains tonight through the day Monday, bringing a threat of
high winds.

* Winds... west winds of 35 to 50 mph with gusts of 65 to 75
mph... locally higher in favorable locations.

* Impacts... strong cross winds will produce a significant blow
over threat to trucks pulling light weight and high profile
trailers. Weak or dead trees could also be knocked down.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

A high wind watch means there is the potential for a hazardous
high wind event. Sustained winds of at least 40 mph... or gusts of
58 mph or stronger may occur. Continue to monitor the latest
forecasts.
