... Winter Weather Advisory remains in effect from 1 am to 10 am
EST Wednesday...

* what... mixed precipitation expected. Total snow accumulations
close to an inch across northeast Kentucky and 2 to 4 inches
across southeast Ohio and west central to northern West
Virginia. Also, ice accumulations of a light glaze is expected.

* Where... portions of southeast Ohio, northeast Kentucky and
central, northern and western West Virginia.

* When... from 1 am to 10 am EST Wednesday.

* Additional details... plan on slippery Road conditions. The
hazardous conditions could impact the morning commute.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

A Winter Weather Advisory means that periods of snow, sleet or
freezing rain will cause travel difficulties. Expect slippery
roads and limited visibilities, and use caution while driving.

... Flood Watch remains in effect from 10 PM EST this evening
through Thursday morning...

The Flood Watch continues for

* portions of northeast Kentucky, southeast Ohio, southwest
Virginia, and West Virginia, including the following areas, in
northeast Kentucky, Boyd, Carter, Greenup, and Lawrence KY. In
southeast Ohio, Athens, Gallia, Jackson OH, Lawrence OH,
Meigs, Morgan, Perry, Vinton, and Washington. In southwest
Virginia, Buchanan and Dickenson. In West Virginia, Barbour,
Boone, Braxton, Cabell, Calhoun, Clay, Doddridge, Gilmer,
Harrison, Jackson WV, Kanawha, Lewis, Lincoln, Logan, Mason,
McDowell, Mingo, Pleasants, Putnam, Ritchie, Roane, Taylor,
Tyler, Upshur, Wayne, Wirt, and wood.

* From 10 PM EST this evening through Thursday morning

* heavy rain will overspread the area starting late Tuesday
night and lasting through early Thursday morning. Rainfall
amounts as high as 1 to 2 inches will be possible. The rain
combined with a saturated ground will likely lead to flooding
of creeks, streams and rivers which are already running high.

* Flooded roads along streams, creeks and rivers are possible.
Especially, low lying and poor drainage areas.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

A Flood Watch means there is a potential for flooding based on
current forecasts.

You should monitor later forecasts and be alert for possible
flood warnings. Those living in areas prone to flooding should be
prepared to take action should flooding develop.
