Winter Storm Warning
Issued: 6:30 PM CST Feb. 23, 2019 – National Weather Service

... Winter Storm Warning remains in effect until 6 PM CST Sunday...

* what... heavy snow expected. Some freezing drizzle also possible.
Total snow accumulations of 7 to 14 inches, except 4 to 7
inches for northern Bayfield counties. The highs snowfall will
occur over Ashland, and price counties. Ice accumulations of a
light glaze expected. Winds gusting as high as 45 mph.

* Where... Sawyer, price, Washburn, Bayfield and Ashland counties.

* When... until 6 PM CST Sunday.

* Additional details... travel could be very difficult. Patchy
blowing snow could significantly reduce visibility. Gusty
winds could bring down tree branches.

A Winter Storm Warning means significant amounts of snow, sleet
and ice will make travel very hazardous or impossible.
