The Flood Warning continues for
the San Antonio River near Elmendorf.
* At 2:30 PM Saturday the stage was 24.4 feet.
* Flood stage is 35.0 feet.
* Minor flooding is forecast.
* Forecast... rise above flood stage by tomorrow late morning and continue to
rise to near 36.4 feet by tomorrow afternoon. The river will fall below flood
stage by tomorrow late evening.
* Impact... at 35.0 feet... minor lowland flooding inundates crop and pastureland
below San Antonio to below Floresville.

the Medina River at Hwy 281.
* At 2:15 PM Saturday the stage was 6.5 feet.
* Flood stage is 20.0 feet.
* Minor flooding is forecast.
* Forecast... rise above flood stage by early tomorrow and continue to rise to
near 23.3 feet by tomorrow late morning. The river will fall below flood stage
by tomorrow evening.
* Impact... at 24.0 feet... moderate lowland flooding floods secondary roads and
bridges making them dangerous to traffic.

the Flood Warning continues for
the Leon creek at I-35.
* At 9:15 am Saturday the stage was 5.4 feet.
* Flood stage is 15.0 feet.
* Minor flooding is forecast.
* Forecast... rise above flood stage by this afternoon and continue to rise to
near 15.5 feet by late this afternoon. The river will fall below flood stage
by this evening.
* Impact... at 16.0 feet... Mobile homes upstream in Camargo park near the San
Antonio missions Ball Park are threatened. Numerous secondary and primary
roads and bridges flood above Kelly USA to below I-35. Flow approaches horse
barns and homes below Kelly USA.

the National Weather Service in Austin/San Antonio has issued a

* Flood Warning for
the Medina River at Somerset.
* From this evening to Sunday evening... or until the warning is cancelled.
* At 7:45 am Saturday the stage was 6.7 feet.
* Flood stage is 18.0 feet.
* Minor flooding is forecast.
* Forecast... rise above flood stage by tonight and continue to rise to near 18.8
feet by after midnight tonight. The river will fall below flood stage by
Sunday morning.
* Impact... at 18.0 feet... minor flooding threatens buildings in campground at
confluence of Medina River and medio creek.
