* At 547 PM CST, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain across the warned
area. Flash flooding is expected to begin shortly.

* Some locations that will experience flooding include...
Franklin, Lebanon, Nashville, Madison, Smyrna, Brentwood, La
Vergne, Mount Juliet, Nolensville, Forest Hills, Oak Hill, Belle
Meade, Kingston Springs, Lakewood, Pegram, Hermitage, Fairview,
Walterhill, Rural Hill and Bellevue.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

In hilly terrain there are hundreds of low water crossings which are
potentially dangerous in heavy rain. Do not attempt to cross flooded
roads. Find an alternate Route.

* a portion of middle Tennessee, including the following areas,
Bedford, Cannon, Cheatham, Clay, Coffee, Cumberland, Davidson,
De Kalb, Dickson, Fentress, Giles, Grundy, Hickman, Houston,
Humphreys, Jackson, Lawrence, Lewis, Macon, Marshall, Maury,
Montgomery, Overton, Perry, Pickett, Putnam, Robertson,
Rutherford, Smith, Stewart, Sumner, Trousdale, Van Buren,
Warren, Wayne, white, Williamson, and Wilson.

* Until midnight CST tonight

* at least an additional one half to one inch of rainfall expected
with locally higher amounts possible on already saturated ground
conditions through the evening hours tonight.

* Potentially life-threatening flooding will be very possible.
