... Flood Warning now in effect until Friday afternoon...
the Flood Warning continues for
the Black Creek at Quinby.
* Until Friday afternoon.
* At 9:00 am Monday the stage was 13.10 feet.
* Flood stage is 10.0 feet.
* Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast.
* Forecast... the river will continue to fall and get below flood stage by
Thursday evening.
* Impact... at 13.0 feet... floodwaters spill over into all yards of residences on
Creekside drive, Crooked Creek drive and east Black Creek Road. The creek
spills over its banks off Highway 327 in the Country Club of South Carolina.
Floodwaters affect some yards of residences in the Country Club of South
Carolina.

The Flood Warning continues for
the great Pee Dee at Pee Dee.
* Until further notice.
* At 9:00 am Monday the stage was 22.08 feet.
* Flood stage is 19.0 feet.
* Minor flooding is occurring and moderate flooding is forecast.
* Forecast... the river will continue rising to near 24.5 feet by early Thursday
morning then begin falling.
* Impact... at 25.0 feet... flood waters will continue to affect logging operations
upstream and downstream from Pee Dee. Flooding of farmlands adjacent to the
river will worsen.

The National Weather Service in Wilmington NC has issued a

* Flood Warning for
the lynches at Effingham.
* From Tuesday afternoon to Friday afternoon.
* At 9:00 am Monday the stage was 13.51 feet.
* Flood stage is 14.0 feet.
* Moderate flooding is forecast.
* Forecast... rise above flood stage by tomorrow afternoon and continue to rise
to near 16.3 feet by early Wednesday afternoon. The river will fall below
flood stage by early Friday morning.
* Impact... at 15.5 feet... flood waters will affect portions of north Old
Georgetown, Roundtree and bengause roads near Effingham and New Hope. The
roads will be impassable in places.
