Winter Storm Warning
Issued: 4:14 AM EST Nov. 15, 2018 – National Weather Service

... Winter Storm Warning remains in effect from 10 am this morning
to 8 am EST Friday...

* what... heavy snow then mixed precipitation expected. Total snow
accumulations of 3 to 6 inches and ice accumulations of around
one tenth of an inch are expected. Locally up to 8 inches of
snow is possible across the higher elevations to the north and
west of the Susquehanna valley.

* Where... portions of central Pennsylvania.

* When... from 10 am Thursday to 8 am EST Friday. Heavy snow mixed
with some sleet will move in from the south during the late
morning then turn to a mixed bag of precipitation later this
afternoon. The heaviest period of precipitation will be during
the mid-day into early this evening. The precipitation may turn
to freezing rain for the evening and much of the night. The
precipitation will likely end as a second period of heavy snow
early Friday morning.

* Additional details... plan on difficult travel conditions,
including during the evening commute on Thursday. Be prepared
for significant reductions in visibility at times.
