The Flood Warning continues for
the Willow Creek near Willow City.
* Until further notice.
* At 11:00 am Friday the stage was 1444 feet.
* Flood stage is 1442 feet.
* Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast.
* Forecast... the river will continue falling to near 1443.5 feet by Sunday
afternoon.
* Impact... at 1443 feet... overflow occurs on left bank.

the Souris river near Bantry.
* Until further notice.
* At 11:00 am Friday the stage was 1441 feet.
* Flood stage is 1440 feet.
* Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast.
* Forecast... the river will remain near 1441 feet through the weekend.
* Impact... at 1440 feet... water begins crossing the Road several
hundred feet to the left of the bridge. No towns or major roads are
flooded.

the Souris river near Towner.
* Until further notice.
* At 8:00 am Thursday the stage was 1455 feet.
* Flood stage is 1454 feet.
* Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast.
* Forecast... the river will continue to fall to a stage of 1455 feet
by tomorrow morning.
* Impact... at 1456 feet... moderate flood stage. Flood problems begin
with agricultural land and Meadows affected.

... A wintry mix across portions of western and central North
Dakota tonight into Monday morning...

Precipitation will expand across western and central North Dakota
tonight, continuing Monday morning central. A wintry mix of
freezing rain, sleet and snow is possible from Dickinson,
Williston and Crosby, through Garrison, Minot, Bottineau,
Carrington and Belcourt. A thin glaze of ice is possible. The
greatest snowfall accumulations of 1 to 2 inches are forecast near
the international border.

Roads may become slick tonight into Monday morning. Allow extra
time to reach your destination if traveling.

High water remains along the Souris river from Towner up
through the Westhope area. This high water along the Souris river
and that along Willow Creek near Willow City will continue through
the weekend. Expectations are that it will be near the end of April
to early may before water levels start falling below flood stage.
