Watches & Warnings

Special Statement
Issued: 11:43 PM CST Dec. 10, 2018 – National Weather Service

... Patchy dense freezing fog and patchy areas of black ice
are expected this morning...

Patchy dense freezing fog and patchy areas of black ice are
expected this morning. Even on roads that have been cleared of
snow, remaining moisture will freeze resulting in a clear sheet of
ice on roads that cannot be easily seen. The dense freezing fog
will reduce visibility to one-quarter or less and will add to the
potential of black ice.

Be cautious, slow down, and allow additional time to reach your
destination if traveling tonight and early Tuesday morning.
