The Flood Warning continues for
the Coldwater river near Sarah
* until Monday February 25.
* At 7 PM Saturday the stage was 22.8 feet.
* Minor flooding is occurring.
* Maximum forecast stage of 23.5 feet on Sunday February 24.
* Flood stage is 18.0 feet.
* The river rose above flood stage Friday February 22 and will
continue rising to near 23.5 feet by Sunday February 24. The river
will fall below flood stage Monday February 25.
* At 23.0 feet... numerous homes in Marks are flooding.

The Flood Warning continues for
the Mississippi River at Helena
* until Friday March 15.
* At 7 PM Saturday the stage was 45.6 feet.
* Minor flooding is occurring.
* Maximum forecast stage of 49.0 feet on Saturday March 9.
* Flood stage is 44.0 feet.
* The river rose above flood stage Thursday February 21 and will
continue rising to near 49.0 feet by Saturday March 9. The river
will fall below flood stage Friday March 15.
* At 48.0 feet... in Mississippi, places on the southeast side of
DeSoto Lake are being covered.

The Flood Warning continues for
the Mississippi River at Tunica Riverpark
* until Saturday March 16.
* At 6 PM Saturday the stage was 49.0 feet.
* Moderate flooding is occurring and major flooding is forecast.
* Maximum forecast stage of 52.5 feet on Thursday March 7.
* Flood stage is 41.0 feet.
* The river is currently in flood stage and will continue rising to near
52.5 feet by Thursday March 7. The river will fall below flood
stage Saturday March 16.
* At 53.0 feet... in Tunica County, Mississippi, lucky Lane is
flooded. Bordeaux Camp is all flooded.

* At 937 am CST, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain will move into
the warned area over the next 12 hours with flooding continuing.
An additional 1 to 2 inches of rainfall are expected on tp of the
5 to 7 inches of rain that has fallen over the past 24 hours.

* Some locations that will experience flooding include...
Oxford, Clarksdale, Batesville, Charleston, George Payne State
Park, Holly Springs National Forest, John W Kyle State Park,
Tutwiler, Marks, Sardis, Lambert, Jonestown, como, Crenshaw,
Crowder, Webb, Sledge, Sumner, Pope and Belen.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

Please report flooding to your local law enforcement agency when you
can do so safely.
