The Flood Watch continues for

* a portion of southeast Missouri, including the following
counties, Bollinger, Butler, Carter, Ripley, and Wayne MO.

* Through Saturday morning.

* Rainfall totals from 2 to 3 inches will be likely, with
isolated higher amounts possible.

* The heavy rainfall could flood low water crossings, and result
in standing water in other low lying areas. Minor flooding of
small creeks and streams is possible as well. Some roads may
become water covered.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

A Flood Watch means there is a potential for flooding based on
current forecasts.

You should monitor later forecasts and be alert for possible
flood warnings. Those living in areas prone to flooding should be
prepared to take action should flooding develop.
