... Strong thunderstorms moving into Menominee County...

At 1047 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms 7
miles southeast of Wausaukee, or 15 miles northwest of Menominee,
moving east at 35 mph.

Half inch hail and winds in excess of 30 mph will be possible with
this storm.

Locations impacted include...
Menominee, Stephenson, Cedar River, Daggett, Arthur Bay, Swanson,
Wallace, Ingalls, Wells State Park, Carbondale and Birch Creek.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm, and may lead
to localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.

Frequent cloud to ground lightning is occurring with this storm.
Lightning can strike 10 miles away from a thunderstorm. Seek a safe
shelter inside a building or vehicle until these storms move though.
