Areal Flood Watch

... Flood Watch in effect from late tonight through Sunday
morning...

The National Weather Service in Jackson has issued a

* Flood Watch for a portion of east central Kentucky, including
the following areas, Bath, Fleming, Montgomery, and Rowan.

* From late tonight through Sunday morning

* several rounds of moderate to heavy rainfall will occur across
the area through early Sunday morning. 1 to 2 inches of rainfall
is expected, with locally higher amounts possible. Given the
saturated ground from recent rainfall, minor flooding will be
possible along small streams and creeks. Additionally, isolated
flash flooding will be possible Saturday night as some
thunderstorms track across the area.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

A Flood Watch means there is a potential for flooding based on
current forecasts.

You should monitor later forecasts and be alert for possible
flood warnings. Those living in areas prone to flooding should be
prepared to take action should flooding develop.
