Winter Storm Warning
Issued: 11:08 PM MST Feb. 19, 2018 – National Weather Service

... Winter Storm Warning remains in effect until 8 am MST
Tuesday...

* what... snow... heavy at times and blowing snow. Additional snow
accumulations of 1 to 3 inches, with localized snow amounts up
to 6 inches, are expected.

* Where... eastern sawatch mountains above 11000 feet and eastern
San Juan Mountains above 10000 feet.

* When... until 8 am MST Tuesday.

* Additional details... plan on difficult travel conditions.
Damage to trees and power lines is likely. Winds gusting as
high as 55 mph will cause widespread blowing and drifting
snow. The cold wind chills as low as 30 below zero could cause
frostbite on exposed skin in as little as 30 minutes.

A Winter Storm Warning for snow and blowing snow means severe
winter weather conditions will make travel very hazardous or
