... Fire Weather Watch in effect from Thursday morning through
Friday morning for gusty northeast winds and low relative
humidity for the San Fernando Valley and the hills and canyons of
the Los Angeles County coast...

The National Weather Service in Los Angeles/Oxnard has issued a
Fire Weather Watch for gusty northeast winds and low relative
humidity, which is in effect from Thursday morning through Friday
morning.

* Winds... northeast 15 to 25 mph with gusts to 40 mph Thursday
into Friday morning.

* Relative humidity... daily minimum 5 to 10 percent with poor
overnight recovery.

* Impacts... if fire ignition occurs, there will be the potential
for rapid spread of wildfire and extreme fire behavior that
could lead to a threat to life and property. Use extreme caution
with potential fire ignition sources.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

A Fire Weather Watch means that critical fire weather conditions
are forecast to occur. Listen for later forecasts and possible
red flag warnings.
