* When... until 6 am Wednesday. Winds will increase today with the
strongest winds this afternoon and tonight. Low visibility will
develop this afternoon and tonight.
* Additional details... winds gusting as high as 50 mph will
cause areas of blowing and drifting snow with whiteout
conditions. Near Cape Lisburne winds will gusts to 90 mph.
A Winter Storm Warning for snow and blowing snow means severe
winter weather conditions are occurring. This will make travel
very hazardous or impossible.
